Tuesday Night Meditation Sit with Allison Ulan
June 29th – August 24th, 7:35 to 8:45 pm (note: The July 20th class is cancelled)
Join Allison on Tuesday evenings for Vipassana meditation sessions in the Theravada tradition. This meditation form is a perfect compliment to asana yoga practice because it introduces students to the inner limbs of Yoga (sensory gathering, concentration, contemplation, insight work and samadhi.) These meditation techniques reduce stress and focus the mind in the present moment for optimal living.
Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Micheal Bridge-Dickson, Level 1 and 2 are available this July.
Level 1 Foundations of Teaching Restorative Yoga
July 22-25, 2010
Some familiarity with Restorative yoga and the use of props required,and at least one year of yoga practice(any style)
Level 2 Developing Restorative Yoga Teaching Skills
July 29-Aug 1, 2010
Foundations of Teaching Restorative Yoga recommended as
a prerequisite. Those who took the first course August 2009 do not have to take foundations
