I began attending yoga classes in 2004 as a way to work with my then-developing scoliosis. Throughout the years and many activities that have passed since then, yoga has been the most helpful and balancing practice for my body. As I am particularly interested in the space that yoga allows for honest self-exploration, this led me to practice meditation beginning in 2010. Over time, I began to see the ways in which my experiences in working with my body and mind could be helpful to others, leading me to pursue teaching.
I completed a 250 hr teacher training at Ashtanga Yoga Montréal in the summer of 2016, and have been teaching part-time since then. I focus on alignment and stability and aim to provide a space in which students feel free to open up to themselves. In the time when I’m not teaching or practicing yoga, I’m working as a piano tuner-technician and trying to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible.
