Monday – Thursday: Mysore 7 am – 11 am (doors open at 6:30 am)
Friday: Mysore 7 am – 9 am & Led Primary 9 am -10:30 am
Saturday: Led 1/2 Primary 9 am -10 am
Sunday: Mysore 8:30 am -10:30 am
What is Mysore style Ashtanga yoga?
Teaching in the tradition of Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, Mysore style is the traditional method of practicing Ashtanga Yoga. Students practice independently, according to the Ashtanga sequence, under the guidance of a teacher. Students receive the support, adjustments and level of challenge that encourages the development of their individual practice.
Can beginners practice Mysore style?
Yes. Rooted in parampara, the direct transmission of knowledge from the teacher to student, this system allows each student to practice at their pace and level, while benefiting from individual adjustments and support from the teacher. Delve deeper into your practice whether you are beginning or experienced. All levels welcome.
*Mysore Montreal is a separate program from AYM and the passes and class cards are not transferable, however discounts will be given to AYM students.
