Be the change you want to see. – Gandhi-ji
In this 2 part workshop, the age old techniques of Ayurveda, the Medicinal Science of India, will be presented for yogis and health practitioners to promote optimal health.
In the first session, we will discover our constitutions from the Ayurvedic perspective and how to alter our diets/life style to live in harmony with them. Herbal remedies, teas, and food choices will be discussed and tried.
The second session will be the “A, B, C,s” of how to do an at-home Spring Cleanse. We will explore thoroughly why and when this cleansing should be done. Plus, if there are any contra-indictations to doing a cleanse or fast. Plus, a juice preparation demonstration will be part of this session. Lots of juice for everyone to try and enjoy.
March 27th and April 10th, 2- 5 pm
Course Fees: $40 for one session, $70 for both sessions
Fees include a manual, juices at the courses and all taxes.

Join the directors of AYM for this month long 200 hour intensive to study and practice the ancient techniques of Yoga complimented by the practices of Ayurveda, Bodywork therapies, Anatomy & Physiology, Meditation and East/West Philosophy. Anita Sharma and Joanna Abbot will be guest teachers for this program. All trainings at AYM are recognized and certified through The Yoga Alliance of North America.
To secure your place in the couse there is a $200 deposit needed to be sent with your application. When your application is accepted, we will then deposit your cheque.
Course fees:
$2,400 Advanced payment deadline is Monday April 5th, 2010. Tuition is $2,750 after April 5th and needs to be paid in total by May 25th, 2010. Tuition fees include taxes and manual fees. In this meditation course, a step-by-step approach to meditation will be presented, with exercises that introduce the rich possibilities of this age-old spiritual practice of self-awareness.
In 4 sessions over 4 weeks, we will investigate the seven factors of awareness through traditional and contemporary practices. When these factors are nurtured, they become attitudes which support ease, humour and clarity in our daily meditation routines.
This workshop is appropriate for anyone new to meditation or to those who would like a better understanding of the foundations of meditation practice.

In this workshop we will experience how to created a seamless transitions of Vinyasa with the use of our inner core and breath. This will deepen your understanding of ashtanga flow and creating a real difference in your practice. With this workshop your vinyasa is guaranty to simply take a flight!
Saturday, March 13, 2010 2 – 5 pm
Opening to the Ground focuses on finding a sense of balance within the pelvis, releasing tension, reducing effort, finding neutral, and experiencing
the liberation of the hips. We will also take a look at how tightness in the hips can affect the rest of the body. This workshop is designed for people with a regular asana practice of any level, all are welcome to come and explore.
